Rules  Of  The  School

PUPILS SHOULD:


1. Be in the school campus at the time prescribed and attend the assembly without fail. 

2. Memorize the school song and National Anthem and sing them effectively whenever asked. 

3. Obtain permission from the principal to enter the classroom, when late to the school. 

4. Develop good habits related to personal cleanliness and general hygiene. 

5. Keep classrooms and school premises always clean and attractive. 

6. Care must be taken to keep the school clean at all times. Litter must be disposed off in the dustbins provided. 

7. Observe order and silence at all times and during the working of the school, especially during the absence of teachers in the classroom or while walking in the corridors. 

8. Students are not permitted to bring story books (other than school library books), magazines, picture books, video games, audiovideo cassettes/ DVD's/CD's, fancy items, Walkman's or Mobile phones to the school.This rule is applicable for class, practices, Annual Day, Sports Day, Picnic etc. Any such property found in the possession of the student will be confiscated by the school. 

9. Students must take care of the school property. No scratches, writings or drawings may be made on the school furniture or walls. 

10. Bring with them Textbooks, Workbooks, Diary, Instrument box, Painting box, Colored Pencils, etc., in accordance with the requirements of the day. 

11. Maintain text books, notebooks, etc., in a tidy and presentable manner. 

12. All school books must be labelled and neatly maintained throughout the year. 

13. Books must be brought according to the day's timetable without fail. 

14. Participate in the co-curricular activities organized in the school from time to time during the year effectively. So that they may, in turn, participate in the inter-school competitions organized by other schools, agencies, during the year. 

15. Students must come to school wearing the correct school uniform. Uniform must be neatly cleaned and ironed. 

16. Personal cleanliness, hygiene and neatness is expected at all times. Hair must be neatly cut/pinned/plaited and combed. Nails must be kept clean and short. Boys must maintain their hair trim and neat. Fancy hairstyles and coloured hair is not allowed. 

17. Produce medical certificate from doctor, when they are sick for more than three consecutive days. 

18. Get signature from parent for non-attendance on a day, for permission to leave the school before time or not being in full uniform, in the school diary. 

19. Speak English in the school premises. 

20. Be docile, punctual, clean, neat and hard working. They should maintain a high standard of discipline inside as well as outside the school.

21. Students are permitted to wear festive dress on birthdays and distribute common chocolates/sweets to their classmates and teachers. However students may not enter or disturb other classes for this purpose. In this context distribution of fancy gifts / sweets & celebration of class parties is not permitted.


 PUPILS SHOULD NOT:

 

22. Leave classroom and school premises during working hours of the school without prior permission of their Class Teacher and Principal respectively. 

23. Bring Mobile phones, Smart Watches and two wheelers to the school. 

24. Cause any kind of damage to the school building or school equipments, Any failure in this regard will incur restitution/repair. 

25. Indulge themselves in any act of misbehavior or disobedience or disrespect to teachers both during and after the working hours of the school. Running, playing and shouting in the classrooms and corridors during study hours is forbidden. Students must not indulge in fights and physical and verbal abuse in school. Stringent action will be taken against all students instigating and/or participating in such acts. 

26. Buy eatables from vendors/shops outside the school campus. 

27. Visit their friends in any other classroom during the recess or other periods 

28. Write/make any remarks on the walls or any part of the school premises or on furniture. Any pupil guilty of the damaging the school property will be liable to pay for the damages.

PARENTAL CO-OPERATION

 

1. Parents, Guardian or other persons are not allowed to speak to the students or their teachers during class hours without the written permission of the Principal. 

2. Parents are requested to co-operate in the work of the school by enforcing regularity and discipline and by taking general interest in the child's progress. 

3. The school diary should be brought to the school every day. Parents should carefully go through school diary daily, see the remarks and counter signed regularly. 

4. The school will insist on strict punctuality, regular school attendance, and cleanliness in dress, general grooming and fidelity to study and work assignment; absence from school merely for social functions will be strongly discouraged. 

5. Parents or guardians are specially requested to, notify the school if there is any change in address & phone number. 

6. Parents or guardians should as soon as possible notify the school authorities of the occurrence of any contagious disease in the house where a pupil lives, and the pupil must not be sent to school until all danger of infections is over. 

7. Parents are informed that their children are liable to the denial of admission to class by the Principal for a special period of time for any of the following:

i. Not wearing the proper uniform 

ii. Not having the report sheets signed when required. 

iii. Not having signed a remark by the Parent / Guardian written in the diary by a teacher. 

iv. Repeatedly forgetting books.

v. Not having the Non-Attendance Records duly signed. 

vi. Misbehaving in the school or in the bus. vii. Child is late in the school for more than three days. 

viii. Found copying or misbehaving during the examination.

WITHDRAWAL

 

No leaving certificate is issued without a written application from the parent. All dues to the school shall be settled before issuing the certificate. Application for T.C. should be submitted two days in advance. No T.C will be issued during the holidays.
